Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
By using Open Market Terminal ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service is — and is not
- The service is a research and education tool. Nothing in it — including AI-generated opinions, scores, fair-value estimates, and news impact labels — is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.
- We are not a broker-dealer and do not execute trades or hold customer funds.
- Market data comes from public and licensed third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. AI outputs are experimental and can be wrong. Always verify independently; you are solely responsible for your decisions.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 18. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable use
- No scraping, bulk-redistributing, or reselling data obtained through the service; upstream providers' terms apply to their data.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits or AI quotas, probe or disrupt the service, or access other users' data.
- Custom AI modules run in your own browser from code stored on your device. You are responsible for what you generate and run; we provide the sandbox as-is and may block bridge access that abuses the service.
4. Plans, billing & AI usage
- Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Early-bird pricing stays locked only while the subscription remains active.
- AI features have daily allowances per plan (shown at the point of use). Allowances exist because each run has a real cost; systematic exhaustion or automation may be treated as abuse. Bring-your-own-key usage is billed by your key provider, not us.
- We may adjust features and allowances; material reductions to a paid plan will be communicated in advance.
5. Third-party content
Charts by TradingView; social data from StockTwits; crypto sentiment from alternative.me; headlines via Google News and other sources. Their trademarks belong to their owners; their terms govern their content.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with refunds for unused paid time only where required by law.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version, and continued use means acceptance. Questions: the in-app support widget. See also our Privacy Policy.
